Deidre Wingelaar is the artist of the month for January at Fire and Water ART. This image is called WATER'S EDGE. This image is on page 88 of the Grand Rapids Magazine for January.There will be a reception at the gallery on Friday, January 18 from 6-8 pm.
Deidre works in water media and does some of her work on paper that she prepares by freezing paint into frost crystals on the paper. This piece was done partly with the help of rubbing alcohol.
She will also have a solo show of her work at Park Church in Grand Rapids from March 5- April 15.
